Maka, aku layan sahaja pedih di hulu hati.
Tetap berharap kau tersenyum di sana.

Her grip on his hand loosen. She’s drifting slowly to sleep, into a
slumber of content because tonight, she’s with him. He is not ready to
fall asleep yet. He is savoring every second of this moment. He is
enjoying the quietness of her. Its not like he mind her bubbly self.

She’s always full of life and so colorful. He likes that about her. He
adores her. Its just that when its quiet like this, he has more time
to slowly take her in. One bit at a time, like the color of her hair,
her sweet smell- not the smell of her favourite perfume (he likes that
as much too) but her’s. Her soft eyebrows, sometimes moving then
settling down to a perfect arch line above her closed eyes. He misses
looking into her beautiful eyes, but he’s quite content just looking
at them closed. Her soft breathing, her cute button nose. Her luscious
full lips. He wants to kiss them now as much as how he wants to kiss
them every other time he saw her smile, talking, and especially when
they’re firm when shes upset or angry. The closeness of their body,
her warmth, her skin touching his.

There’s something he can’t express
into words.. He is never good at them to begin with- expressing
himself with words. It’s her thing, not his. However, at this moment
if only she could see him, it tells everything- how much he loves her,
how much he wants to give her, how much his heart aches every time
shes not with him. His heart aches now because he’s not quite sure
whether she will ever fully understand his feelings for her. He knows
she knows, but how much?
He kisses her forehead softly, hoping that it wouldn’t wake her. He
lets the kiss linger a bit longer hoping that it will convey for him
the feelings he can never fully express to her in person.
I miss you, he whispered.
